River Bat Sat.

This evening we went to a River Bats game, and they lost. It was still very fun, though! We had popcorn, and water, too. It was free tee day, so I got a free St. Cloud River Bats shirt! It's a little big, but it'll be fine. In the game, we danced whenever music came on, and cheered on Earl Batty Junior when he drove the Betmobile, and the minigames in between innings. Very fun evening, in all! :)

Kickball on Thursday & Friday

Hola Amigos,
Yesterday was the first day of our kickball tournament. We faced Mrs. Olson's class and won! Then today we versed Mrs. Petit's class, and, of course, won! On Monday we will face Mrs. Deible's class, and I hope, we'll win. Also, next week is our last week of school! It's deffinetly a good thing, but it will be very sad, still. Well, I have to get to bed. Bye!

Wednesday Songbird

Today I wrote a song!
I'm going to put it on youtube next week. Just type in "Just Me song". It's o-some. Tee-hee. Tommorow we do a kickball tournament and we're facing Mrs. Olson's class, which will be SO simple! Ha ha! I can't wait for tommorow...

Scary, yet fun, on Saturday

Today,
I went to my Grandma's lake lot up in Alexandria, and we helped put the dock in the water. I mostly chattered with grandma, while grandpa and dad worked in 5 feet of water. [:
After the lake we went home and had our pizza we ordered. Then, we had a bonfire and ate some s'mores. The scary part of this whole day was the fact that mom's acting, like, fun. She's letting us have BLT's (bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes between two slices of toast), which she never lets us have. Also the bonfire, because she doesn't like the smell, AND we're either going to the bowling alley, the zoo, or Monsinger gardens this weekend! Gotta get some rest!

After the Apple Kid Duathalon

Wow! I just finished the Apple Kid Duathalon...and got 5th place in 11-year old girls! I'm just so proud of myself for doing this! When the bullet shot into the sky, and everyone started off, I thought of how hard I trained, and I just took off. After the first 1/2 mile, I was pretty tired. Then, when I hopped on my bike, I was so energized! After the hard bike ride, I was REALLY tired. I felt all better when I saw my family at the gate cheering me on, my dad taking pictures. I ran the last 1/2 mile, and got my ribbon. I then saw my dad and I ran to him. He told me he was so proud.... I even cried a little bit under my sunglasses. I am very proud of myself, truly. Right now I'm still tired, and mt legs feel like Jello, too. I will deffinetly try this again next year. (:

Before the Apple Kid Duathalon...

I'm so excited! The duathalon is today! It's 4:37 pm and I'm SO happy and giddy! It starts at 6:00, so we will leave at 5:15, or so. I hope I get a good place! I've trained so hard! Pray for me! +

Thursday: Apple Kid Duathalon

Hey!
Today I did the whole Apple Kid Duathalon! I did a full 1/2 mile run, a full 7 mile bike, and then another full 1/2 mile run! I'm so proud of myself, and reaching this extrordinary goal! (: Tommorow is the actual Apple Kid Duathalon so I need to get a good night's sleep! I've gotta go take a shower!

Too Hot on Wednesday

Today it is really hot out!
It's 91 degrees F!
So, I can't really do mytraining until tonight which is 1/2 mile, then 15 laps around, then another 1/2 mile.
It is kinda sad because I could have been done already! In Friday is the duathalon and I also get to take my fish, Max, home from Science Environments class! <(:) ]Max

13 Lap Fun

Today was great because of a lot of things. First, the funnies. Someone put a devil sticker on Paige's picture! Ha ha ha! Also, Paige's fish, Phelps, died. Although it's sad, thst was really funny. Plus Phelps is the STUPIDEST name I've ever heard! Today, I ran a 1/2 mile, biked 13 laps, then ran another 1/2 mile with Ali Wicklund, who lives across the street. It was a great day!

Apple Kid Training on Monday

Hey!
Today for training I did 1/2 miles first for running, then I did 11 biking laps around the block, then another 1/2 mile for running.
It was VERY hard work, but on Friday it will be all worth it!

Waiting for my vacations

Today,
I'm thinking about my vacations going on this summer! First we go to Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge. Second, we just I go to what used to be Moose Lake, but now we're going to, like, the Bear Creek Lodge or something. Then in our spare time, we go to the Mall of America, Summerland, and the Minnesota Zoo.
It will be great being so busy this summer! I can not wait for summer!

Saturday: Apple Kid Duathalon

Hey!
Today I'm signing up for the Apple Kid Duathalon! You have to run 1/2 a mile, bike 7 miles, then run 1/2 another mile. It's not that bad, and my dad made me a practicing schedule. I have to run around the block 1 time, bike around the block 5 timed, then run around the block another time. I bike one more lap every day. So tommorow I bike 6 times around the block. It'll be hard work, but it'll be worth it when I win! Ha, ha, ha!

Friday Fun

It was awesome today!
We had a picnic and it was reslly fun! We got watermelon, chips, and hamburgers. We even got free Delta water! It was thriller day today, too! We were going to go outside, but it rained so we stayed inside and played games indoors. ): It was still pretty fun... Well, pretty fun day!

School and Soccer on Thursday

Today was great!
In math we did this mystery map with ordered pairs and mine was called Muaui Luai Sea of Japan and it was all about water and the Endless Ocean. In Language Arts we did our spelling test that was so easy, and we read our novel we're reading called Williwaw. It's actully pretty good! In Science we took the Science Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments test and some questions were so easy and some were harder and more challenging. Plus I write too much, and in the type in your answer questions, I ran out of characters to write in. In gym we went to the tennis courts and played tennis, and that was really fun too. After school I went to soccer and we played England. We lost 1-8 but we tried really hard. Colin wasn't here again because he has another soccer team, apparently. It was our last day so he gave a lecture about summer recreation soccer, and the 7th grade physical, although I'm only in 5th grade... All in all, I love thursdays!

Soccer on Wednesday (::)

Today,
we lost soccer. I'm sad... ):
We played team Norway that's only lost once from USA yesterday. I'm team Brazil and the only reason we lost was because Colin wasn't here!
This one kid on that team that's a 6th grader called me a pansy, and said I'm scared of him, which was totally not true! We ran the mile in gym today and I got 8 minutes and 10 seconds which is four laps around the football field. I beat more than 3/4 of my class, and have an average of a presidential award and/or reputation. (:

My Tuesday Morning Sunshine

Today,
when I woke up to the sound of my stupid beeping clock I slammed it off as hard as I could. I was sonangry at my dad last night! He only lowered my punishment to four days instead of two before I laid DOWN on the couch with Cira, which mom says is SO bad! Agh! Soccer today is supposed to get rained on, so mom said to not go if the happens. I'm so going to go anyways! Rrrgh!

Soccer on Monday

Today,
I had soccer. It was really fun, but we lost 7:0. We only lost because our two best players; Colin who is the BEST goalie and when he saves it, takes it all the way down the field and shoots it into the goal, and Logan who is an excellent forward and kicks other peoples shins, were gone. I'm dissapointed. ): I also kicked a 6th grader named Nick's shin and he fell to the ground. (:
So, not the best day, yet not the worst. I'm not really hungry because I was in Stock Market and we went to Prime Vest today and got pizza and took a tour, so I'm going to go eat some raspberry yogurt for an excuse for dinner now...

Mother's Day 2 ):

So, it's later on Mother's Day and just because I "backsassed" my mom, I lose the computer and Wii for a week. My mom said that was a harsh punishment from my dad, and told me to ask him for like only one day because Evan backsassed mom too, and splattered ink from a leaky pen, all over Lexie and our livingroom. (long story l:) So, I'm going to go ask him for a shorter time later.

Mother's Day
